Clear Estimates is a cloud-based construction estimating solution that provides cost and pricing data of more than 400 areas across the US. Through the software’s integration with RemodelMax, pricing information for parts is automatically updated on a quarterly basis. Through this tool, contractors can calculate project costs, manage part libraries, maintain project databases, and prepare proposals.

For cost estimation of various construction types, such as garages, bathrooms, and kitchens, Clear Estimates offers customizable in-built templates. Contractors can use the tool to generate job-specific estimates when they select a template and add square footage. In addition, they can alter the pricing details or add or remove parts to generate a complete estimate.

With Clear Estimates, remodelers and contractors can easily create proposals by adding parts to predefined templates. Each part has pre-written contract language that allows users to generate proposals automatically. The company’s logo, phone number, and address can be customized on these proposals.

Mobile devices can also access Clear Estimates via any web browser. Since the size of the text is very small on a smartphone or tablet, it should only be used for checking bid prices and other updates. The entire estimate creation process takes longer on a small screen, but users can still use predefined templates on tablets.
