About 3Ds Max

With 3ds Max, users can manage design visualization and game development, as well as manage 3D modeling, animation, and rendering. By using the built-in editor, designers can create and animate geometry using spline workflows, modify textures, apply material finishes, and handle mesh and surface modeling.

3ds Max provides developers with a variety of tools that can be used to design realistic liquid behaviors, create procedural animations, and preview and adjust animation paths. 3ds Max was designed for programmers, but is also powerful for designers and artists. It includes API access, CAD and BIM import, point cloud generation, rendering enhancements, and more.

In addition to supporting Python 3, Open Shading Language (OSL), and other third-party applications, 3ds Max’s Autodesk Viewer workflow lets design professionals share and provide feedback on models.
