What is Niantic Wayfarer?
Niantic Wayfarer is a new way for people to explore, discover and contribute to the real world through augmented reality (AR). It is a global community of AR enthusiasts who use the Niantic Wayfarer app to find and rate real-world locations for Pokestops, Gyms and Ingress Portals.
The Niantic Wayfarer app is available on iOS and Android devices.
How to become a niantic wayfare?
In order to become a Niantic Wayfarer, you must firstly complete the Niantic Incursion Event. This event is held every so often, and the next one is currently scheduled for November 21st to 25th. Once you have completed the event, you will be able to access the Niantic Wayfarer Program.
The program itself is pretty simple: You log into your Ingress account through the Niantic Project website, and then you are given a set of location coordinates. These coordinates will lead you to a real-world location, where you must take a photo. Once you have taken the photo, you submit it back to the program, along with some information about the location.
If your submission is approved by the community, then you will officially become a Niantic Wayfarer!
How to pass niantic wayfarer test?
Niantic Wayfarer is an exclusive, invite-only program that gives players the opportunity to help shape the future of Ingress. If you’re interested in becoming a Wayfarer, here’s what you need to do:
1. Download the Ingress app and create an account.
2. Play the game and reach Level 8.
3. Apply to become a Wayfarer via the in-app form. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you’ll receive an email with further instructions.
4. Complete the four training missions that will be sent to you via email. These Missions must be completed in order, and you’ll have two weeks to complete each one.
5. Upon successful completion of all four training missions, you’ll be invited to join the Niantic Wayfarer community and given access to the special in-game tools and features available only to Wayfarers.
What are niantic wayfarer eligibility and rules?
Niantic Wayfarer is a new program from Niantic, the creators of Pokémon GO, that allows eligible players to submit locations for consideration as Ingress Portal or Pokestop locations. To be eligible, players must first reach Level 8 in either Ingress or Pokémon GO, and have made at least 50 unique edits to the Ingress Intel Map. Once Wayfarers have been given access to the program, they will be able to view submissions from other players and vote on which ones should be accepted.
